Hello! My name is Sheila Dickerman, and I am the newest addition to the Florida Westcoast Skin and Cancer Center family. I am a physician assistant specializing in aesthetic dermatology. I have been a PA for the past 9 years, and I have practiced dermatology for 8 of those 9 years. I have a special passion for aesthetics because a small change can go a long way to make you feel better and improve your self-esteem.
I was born and raised in Honduras. I moved from Honduras to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for my undergraduate studies. I studied biology at the University of Wisconsin—Oshkosh, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree. After some traveling, I went back to school to earn a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences with a concentration in biochemistry from the University of South Florida. I then realized that research was a lonely activity, so I went back to school at Nova Southeastern University to earn a second Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Once in dermatology, I realized I was finally home!
I now have the privilege to help people look better and feel their best at Florida Westcoast Skin and Cancer Center. Please stop by and say hello sometime. I am at the office every Wednesday.
